Another Day In La Plata

Hey everyone just wanted to send another message because I had a little time today. My stay here is going fantastic these 6 weeks have really flown by. In these first weeks I have been able to see how the ministry works and the everyday responsiblites that come with that. We have also had a great opprotunitie to have team time in Buenos Aires one weekend. Also, everyone found a apartment praise the Lord!!!!!!! For some of our team it has been a little ruff not having a permant home. Now each of us are either working on moving in or have moved in our permant dwelling for next year. My roomate and I are currently fixing up our apartment, painting, installing lighting, and cleaning a ton. It is awsome to finely be able to call a place home.

Thanks so much for each of your prayers it has been awsome to see God working everyday here. Everyday is an adventure and has trials...God is good to be with our team through every encounter with troubles and difficulties. Everyday the devil tries to slow us down...or depress us or just make it a long and tiring day....but God works through each of our team members and helps hold us all together. It is so awsome to look at our team and see the different parts of the body of Christ linked together, needing each part to function. One thing that also is great is everyday waking up and knowing that God provided the mattress I slept on, the food I eat, everything about everyday. It makes me more and more thankful to him and to each of my supporters, who follow and seek God daily.

Back to the country. The Argentines are some of the most welcoming and sacrificial. Every Argentine that I have met is willing to sacrifice sleep, time with others, just about anything to hang out with us. Many times we will hang out till 2 or 3 in the morning...the stinters have a 5 min walk, were as most argentines have a 30 min bike ride or a 30-40 min bus ride to where they live.

Sorry this is so scattered just wanting to place several things on the blog. Today, was my second trip to WAL-MART it was glorious. Everytime you go it makes you feel kinda at home. It is great. Oh and they had peanut butter....even better.

Some of the most important lessions I have learned thus far on my trip are.....the first would be how crucial it is to spend time loving the Lord each day......here it is so true that one day missed in quite time will lead to one of the worst days of your life...or at least thats how it feels. Yet God has placed a burning desire in me to spend time with him once you miss that quite time or don't spend enough time. It is a constant reminder how awsome he is to me....and how much I need him. Something else I have learned is how amazing it is too see how we are simply here as vessel for God. It is so true that God is the one that saves and works in the lifes of people.....it is amazing to see people with little spanish skills glorify God and sharing the word in spanish.

Well time to work on my Prayer Letter. I want to send it out to everyone within this next week. A few quick prayer request. That I will continue to fall in love with the culture here. That each day God will give me patients in learning castallano. That I will place God first everyday and listen to where he is leading me and our team for next year.

Thanks so much for all the prayer.
I would love to pray for each of you as well....send me and email with prayer request or just to say hello Brian.Williams@uscm.org

His Son,
Brian
